Troubleshooting

Before taking the IC recorder for repair, check it as follows.

  • Check the items listed in “Troubleshooting.”
  • Re-insert the battery.

    Some problems may be solved when you re-insert the battery.

  • Charge the battery (ICD-UX533/UX533F/UX534F only).

    Some problems may be solved when the battery is charged.

  • Check the Sound Organizer help.

    For details on the operation of Sound Organizer, refer to the Sound Organizer help.

Should any problem persist after you have made these checks, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
