Volume Operation (Only for Countries/Areas Complying with European Directives Except Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine)

The notification sound and caution pop-up [Check the volume level] are meant to protect your ears when you raise the volume() beyond a specified level on your headphones or headset. When you hear the notification sound and the caution pop-up appears on the screen, the volume() is set to the initial setting.
You can make the pop-up caution disappear by tapping [OK] in the pop-up caution, or by tapping the outside of the pop-up caution.
Note
  • If you tap [OK] in the caution pop-up, this enables you to turn up the volume() beyond the specified level. However, if you use the device for 20 consecutive hours after setting the volume() beyond the specified level, you will hear the notification sound and the caution pop-up will appear again.

  • Tapping the outside of the pop-up caution does not enable you to turn up the volume() beyond the specific level. You will hear the notification sound and the caution pop-up will appear again when you raise the volume() beyond the specific level.

  • If you turn off the screen when the caution pop-up is still appearing on the screen, you will see the caution pop-up again when you turn on and unlock the screen.

  • If you shut down your tablet device when the volume() is set beyond the specified level, the volume() returns to the specified level automatically.
