Transferring music using Windows Explorer

You can directly transfer data by drag-and-drop using Windows Explorer on your computer.
  1. Connect the USB connector of the player to your computer.

  1. Click [start] – [My Computer] or [Computer] – [WALKMAN] – [Storage Media], and then select the folder you want to store the audio files into.

Data hierarchy may differ, depending on your computer environment.
  1. Drag-and-drop files or folders () into the selected folder (), or one of its subfolders.

Note
  • Only MP3/WMA files can be played on the player [Details].

  • Do not disconnect the player while [DATA ACCESS] or [DON’T DISCONNECT] appears on the player. Otherwise, data being transferred or stored on the player may be damaged. If the player is disconnected while files are being transferred, unnecessary files may be left in the player. In this case, transfer usable files back to the computer and format the player [Details].

  • Some files may not be played back on the player due to copyright protection.
