INTRODUCTION

  The functions in this chapter provide information about the system.
  Such information may relate to the operating system (DOS), the BIOS or
  the hardware.  It is possible to determine the DOS country setting, the
  DOS error code or whether the math co-processor is present.  It will even
  be possible to boot the computer with a warm or cold start within the
  program.  Furthermore, it is possible to determine and change the
  VERIFY and BREAK, DOS switches.
